Description

Physical conditions of seas and saline water bodies divided into regions and sub regions with common characteristics. A Sea Region SR is a 2D geometry of an area or line with common physical or chemical characteristics that is covered by an ocean sea or similar salt water body The model allows the concept of named seas as well subdivisions and aggregation of seas according to physical or chemical properties The Sea Regions theme provides mechanisms to describe both the sea bed and sea surface as well as inter tidal areas and the shoreline.
