Statens vegvesen

Statens vegvesen has a national mandate as administrator of the access point, and is responsible for the realisation, use and management of the solution. Statens vegvesen is also responsible for support and other questions related to the portal. See the contact information at the bottom of all the help pages.

From 1 January 2020, the county authorities will be responsible for delivering road and transport data to Statens vegvesen. Statens vegvesen adds metadata about the datasets to Transportportal.no.

Entur

Entur is a state-owned company that makes it easier to choose public transport by gathering all public transport journeys in one place. It does this by collecting and refining data from public and private public transport operators across the country. Entur also makes this data available to others. Entur develops and operates a neutral, national journey planner, and offers common solutions for route and travel information in addition to sales, ticketing and settlement solutions for the public transport sector.

Digitaliseringsdirektoratet

Transportportal.no is part of "Felles datakatalog", the Norwegian national data catalogue.

Jernbanedirektoratet

Jernbanedirektoratet has the task of being the national supervisory authority for Regulation 1926/2017 on multimodal travel information services.

Vegtilsynet

Vegtilsynet has the task of being the national supervisory authority for Regulation 886/2013 on the provision of safety-related traffic information and Regulation 962/2015 on the provision of real-time traffic information.
