Description

The Ruteplan API gives a travelling route between two locations, with the possibility to add via locations. It also gives routs for trucks from 4-60 ton.

Contact NPRA ( ruteplan at vegvesen.no ) for access to https://www.vegvesen.no/ws/no/vegvesen/ruteplan/routingservice_v3_0/open/routingService/openapi/index.html Daily limit of 2500 connections per day. Violation of this limit might lead to blocking of user.

Simple web client for test and debugging http://ruteplantestklient.vegdata.no . We will do changes to the testklient whenever and without warning.

This service uses http basic auth. Unless you want each user to log in on each visit, this isn't very java script friendly for public facing web portals. You'd probably want to set up a proxy or similar for handling login for these use cases.
