Description
Datasettet er en del av pilotprosjektet "Marine Grunnkart i Kystsonen" og viser strømstyrke noen meter over havbunnen. Strømretningen er oppgitt i grader (0-360) og hastigheten er i meter per sekund. Det dekker de tre pilotområdene Nye Stavanger kommune, Ålesund/Giske på Sunnmøre og Kvenangen i Troms. Bunnstrøm er hentet ut fra en to år lang simulering med en tredimensjonal, hydrodynamisk strømmodell. Oppløsning er 150m, stedfestingsnøyaktighet er 160m.
