Description
Under Section 11-14 of the Financial Institutions Act and Section 11-15 of the Financial Institutions Regulations, all covered bond undertakings (undertakings that issue covered bonds) are required to have an independent examiner. The examiner is appointed by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (Finanstilsynet) and must submit an annual report to Finanstilsynet.
