Termination of frequency licence – simplified licensing for point‑to‑point radio links

Description

Point‑to‑point (P2P) radio links are a wireless alternative to cable or fibre between two fixed locations. Use in the 70/80 GHz band does not require an individual frequency licence, but registration with the Norwegian Communications Authority (Nkom) is required. When the radio link is no longer in use, the registration must be terminated. Termination can be submitted via Altinn or on Nkom’s website.
