Register your business to obtain Norwegian identifier (CBAM)

All businesses that plan to import CBAM goods into Norway from 1 January 2027 must register with the Norwegian Customs and obtain a Norwegian identifier. A representative of the business completes the registration by filling out the form. Information about the business is retrieved automatically from the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and shared with the EU. Once the registration has been processed, the business will be assigned a Norwegian identifier. This must be used when importing CBAM goods into Norway from countries outside of EEA.
