Supply and use of hydrogen (RA-0843)

These statistics are intended to provide an overview of the supply and use of hydrogen for energy purposes and other purposes in Norway. As of 2025, hydrogen statistics are mandatory to report to Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In the longer term, the statistics will also be incorporated into the Norwegian Energy Balance to provide a more complete overview of all energy sources. The Energy Balance is an important source of information for ministries, industry, researchers, policymakers and the media, and is also used in emission calculations for Norway.
