School attendance

Children of primary school age have the right and duty to education, cf. Act § 2-1. The goal is that the child shall have 100% attendance at school in accordance with their plan. In order to ensure the school and educational situation for children in child welfare, the institutions and care center must follow up the children's school attendance through systematic and targeted work and through cooperation with the schools.

The measure shall report on school attendance to the admissions unit responsible for the placement without being asked. The reporting shall be done for each month (from the first to the last date of a month) by the 5th of the following month.
