Description

Police or lawyers (legal counsel) may apply for an exemption from the duty of confidentiality for employees in schools, kindergartens, child welfare services, social services, and for those working with tasks under the Introduction Act. The exemption applies when the person is to testify in court or give a statement during a police interview regarding a specific criminal offence.
