Application for temporary exemption from requirements in the Kindergarten Act

This form is used to apply for temporary exemption from the requirements in the Norwegian Kindergarten Act (Barnehageloven) and its regulations. Through this form, the kindergarten can apply for exemption from one or more of the following requirements:

Educational qualification requirements for pedagogical leader or kindergarten teacher Norwegian language proficiency requirements for pedagogical leader or kindergarten teacher Staffing norm for pedagogical staff (number of children per pedagogical leader) Basic staffing requirements (number of children per employee)

The application is intended for situations where the kindergarten is temporarily unable to meet one or more of these requirements, and an approved exemption is necessary to operate the kindergarten in a responsible and safe manner.
