Operator's licence

The service provides transport undertakings with access to order and manage transport licences on behalf of the company.

Here, users can order operator’s licence for goods and passenger transport, national operator’s licences for light goods vehicles, as well as report loss of licence documents and order replacement licences.

Anyone who intends to carry out transport of goods and/or passengers by motor vehicle for hire or reward must have an operator’s licence.

An operator’s licence for goods transport by motor vehicle entitles the holder to transport goods by motor vehicle with or without a trailer with a maximum authorised mass of more than 3,500 kg. This also applies to national operator’s licences for light goods vehicles and international operator’s licences for goods vehicles with a maximum authorised mass between 2,500 kg and 3,500 kg.

An operator’s licence for occasional passenger transport by motor vehicle (operator’s licence for coach transport) entitles the holder to operate non-regular passenger transport by motor vehicles registered with more than nine seats.
